Time For Humanities Next Paradigm Shift

| Add Comment

Humanity had always put up resistance to changes. Man sees changes with fear. Those who have tried to bring about positive changes to the society had always faced tough resistance and often prosecuted. History had given us many martyr like Jesus Christ, Galileo Galilei, Martin Luther King, M.K Gandhi and many more. Humanity had continuously come across many paradigm shifts, small and big. But are we yet to cross the biggest of all; the truth about the God. Is it time to renew our understanding on the prime creator?

Our concept of god dates back 1000s of years and had been inherited from generation to generation through oral and written traditions. For that very reason I say that our concept of god is too primitive and out dated. These concepts evolved at a time when man couldn’t even imagine that the earth was spherical and that the planets revolved around the sun. Weird imaginations coupled with ignorance and fear had shaped the present concept of god or gods.

With each successive generations we are getting further and further out of touch with the truth. There are organized moves to keep us uninformed on the reality of existence so as to control and manipulate humanity. Religions had been used as a tool for controlling and dominating the society. Religions deprive man of their freedom to think freely, question and make judgments.

We are afraid to think freely about god. We are taught to fear god. But in fact god is pure love. You wouldn’t understand what I talk about until you break out of the fear to think. I have bean in this situation before; crushing my own thoughts and questions about god as they popup in my mind. We fear the wrath of god. We see god as a loving dictator but fear to acknowledge this fact. We pretend to love him because we fear him. God reads our mind so we suppress our thoughts. It’s the ignorance of reality that prevents us from going further.

We humans are incapable of comprehending the idea of the God. Our minds are bound to the 3 dimentional world. It’s even difficult to think of possibly other dimensions of existence. We confine god to our limited imagination.

We see god as a call-center operator whose job is to answer prayers and bring about punishment on sinners. At an age when man puts machines in charge of many functions that man had done it him self previously; don’t we expect the prime creator to employ a better mechanism to govern his creations with justice? Yes he does have a mechanism called the ‘Natural Law’. In scientific terms it can be defined as; ‘Every Action Has an Equal and Opposite Reaction’ (Sir Issac Newton). In spiritual terms it can be defined as ‘do unto others as you want others to do unto you’ (Jesus Christ). In short its the eastern religious concept of karma.
