Young Indian Entrepreneurs Beat Ipad With Notion Ink’s Adam Tablet
According to the CEO of Notion Ink, Mr.Rohan Shravan, “Notion Ink is a firm for Innovation. Very very young and very different. Average age of employees is 22 yrs! Based out of India. It was my dream to design devices which can do anything. And that’s what we are doing right now. The first thing you do to realize your dream is to write is somewhere. And that’s what we will help other to do. We will be their Notion Ink.”
Adam tablet computer cum eBook reader
Adam is the name of the tablet computer cum eBook reader that is developed by Notion Ink. Its a tablet like iPad or Samsung Galaxy but better in many ways. What makes it drastically different form the present tablets or eBook readers is that its screen can be switched between color display and the e-Ink display style manually or it can self adjust to the ambient light. This avoids the need to buy iPad for cloud computing and Kindle for reading ebooks. Another innovation is that unlike other tablets it comes with a track pad that is placed at the bottom of the tablet. This makes it convenient to navigate even while you are holding the device with both your hands. Its just that we have to get used to it. Another creative idea incorporated in the device is a 180 degree rotatable camera. Unlike other devices in the series that either come with one camera at the back or with one on other sides, Adam lets users capture HD videos and pictures in any angle (180 degree rotatable). This is very convenient especially when you want to record a lecture or presentation while the device is on a table.
